Join the dots

Dots are insignificant. Who cares about dots anyways, right? We brush off what seems small. For the artist, a dot means everything, and they brush it in their works. During a visit at an art exhibition at Fundii Centre for the Arts– a contemporary space for artists to showcase their work, I stumbled across an image that changed my perspective (see, that’s what art does).

The picture below is made of dots to form a lady. Sometimes, the insignificant matter, even dots.
